HCC’s annual Legislative Day is a chance for members of the bleeding disorders community to come together and meet with key members of the Senate and Assembly to educate them about hemophilia, other co-diagnoses, and issues of concern to the bleeding disorders community.
Because of the ongoing budget crisis this is a crucial time for the bleeding disorders community to come to the capitol to advocate for protection of programs and services used by people with bleeding disorders. HCC is also enforcing the Standards of Service legislation for home healthcare providers that we passed, and community support is vital to the success of the bill.
Come to the State Capitol this spring and make your voice heard in support of programs and services crucial to the bleeding disorders community!
Legislative Day takes place at the State Capitol Building in Sacramento from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and includes breakfast and lunch.
