How are you helping yourself so you can give back to the community?
Think of yourself on an airplane. Your flight attendant always says to affix your own oxygen mask before helping your child or anyone else.
Why is that?
This may seem like a crazy concept, but if you helped others put their oxygen mask on first, you would eventually pass out, unable to provide support.
But if you put your oxygen mask on first, you will be resilient and strong enough to lend a hand!
Your positive impact on the bleeding disorders community only comes when you’re thriving; when you help yourself first!
